My company writes software for the communications systems used by many broadcasters, including NBC, who use a large system for covering the Olympics. This is my 5th trip to the Olympics providing support to NBC inside the IBC, and these are my ramblings on what's going on in Torino and at the Games.

Sean's Torino Olympic Blog!

Welcome to Sean's Torino Olympic Blog!

From February 1st to February 28th, I will be working at the International Broadcast Center (IBC) in the Communications area for NBC during their coverage of the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games.

At previous Olympic Games, I had used an email newsletter and mailing list to keep friends and family updated on what I was doing, but thought I would try a more modern approach this time via a blog.

I plan to use this blog to share my experiences in Torino, both from the broadcasting and tourist adventure point of view.

I hope you enjoy it, and I would love to hear from all of you back home.

Cheers - Sean

Hey Kevin!

I've been struggling to get internet and email access, plus this is our busiest time: right before opening ceremonies tomorrow. It is really crazy right now with all the venues coming up at the same time.

I promise new posts soon.
